TYKE (Two Year Kindergarten Experience)
Mrs. Zagone

Mrs. Cindy Zagone

"It is my true belief that God has given each of us a special gift.....We just open them at different times. This belief is what guides the instuction in our classroom. Each child should progress at their own developmental level. We also focus on the love of God and to love others as God loves them. It is my hope that at the end of the school year each child will have worked to their potential and have developed a love of school as well as a joy for learning. "

"Naturally, I want as much learning as possible to take place in my classroom, and I like the students to be engaged in a variety of activities that will bring about that learning. I try to choose literature that I believe they will not only learn from but that they will enjoy. Daily I work to make them literate speakers and writers of their language through the teaching of the grammar, writing, and vocabulary. It is also very important to me that all of this takes place in a classroom where everyone feels respected and cared about, and not just by me. Finally, I want the students to come to my room and know that I am very glad that they are there."
